Continuing from my last post on mens footwear trends, there are some great updates on formal shoes doing rounds on the runways. We have the Brogues converted into boots, making it the hottest new shoe in town. Love the Dolce & Gabbana’s side lace placement. The traditional Victorian work-boot is a take on oxfords with a clean, no-frills look, making it a classy pair to own. On streets of Milan were spotted the close fit, modern looking ankle boots, great to wear with slim trousers or denims. Love the white version with laces on the side. We’ve seen before mixing of textures on shoes and a combination of matte and sheen. Now its fabric and leather mixes that are being showcased on Emporio Armani & Etro’s catwalks.
